Review of Halloween II (2009) by Jordan J — 19 Oct 2017
So I rewatched Halloween II. I actually liked it more than I did the first time I watched it. It wasn't as good as the original movie of course but I do think John Carpenter still did a good job with this movie.
There is some cheesiness to be found and some unintentional funny scenes but that's part of what makes this movie fun. It's also just as scary as the first movie. In some scenes there is an incredible amount of suspense.
The acting in this was pretty good too. The score for this movie was also pretty good. Sadly I think this was the last movie that Carpenter was involved with. I can really tell because of the way this movie feels.
All of the movies after this one didn't feel like true halloween movies. With Jamie Lee Curtis or not. Overall this is a very fun sequel. Definitely the best sequel of the series. A-.
