Hard target 2 is about what you would expect from a direct to DVD movie. The plot has been done many times before and it's predictable. The villains are one note, the special effects are cheesy, and the acting is subpar.
Still the movie isn't boring, kept my attention, and if you want to good cheesy action movie you could do worse. Scott Atkins has the potential to be a bigger star he just needs to really find better scripts.
