Review of Hardball (2001) by Jay L — 19 Jul 2012
It is a simple and basic storyline that doesn't speak out as an original work. Reeves is always enjoyable to watch, but the story didn't have the right backing to beef it up and make you feel that attached.
There are a few good scenes and some funny lines but the story is easy to see what is coming and it takes you out of the engaging factor with the story. The kids with trouble in their life and coach with his own troubles finding each other and success isn't that enjoyable any more and isn't new to watch.
