Review of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 (2010) by David O — 12 Sep 2018

Yates makes a good choice of making Part 1 of this series finale a sort of road movie, with our gang of characters taken out of our and their comfort zone making for something quite different. With exciting set pieces and a great animated story sequence, Part 1 does bring some of the problems associated with the idea of splitting a final chapter in half, but does better than most would have expected.
