With visionary director Alfonso Cuarón at the helm, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban feels like a big leap in quality from the previous two films. It also boasts the frightening Dementors, effective twists, a spine-tingling John Williams score, and enjoyable turns from Gary Oldman and David Thewlis.
