Review of Head On (1998) by Steve R — 23 Jun 2006
An explicit and confronting film tackling big issues of identity, 'Head On' is definately an appropriate title. The dangerously narcisistic protagonist seems stuck in the middle of nowhere and to many's frustration (if my literature class was any indication) doesn't really end up anywhere either.
This movie will frustrate some because the characters don't change and perhaps thats one of the points - if people are too stubborn to change, how can any potential good come out? I could attempt to describe the film further, but I really think you need to view it for yourself.
