Review of Hellbound: Hellraiser II (1988) by Misty S — 09 Apr 2017

This was on the docket for a re-watch as I'd not seen it in at least a few years.

I might actually like this one better than the original, as it fleshes out the mythology a bit more, but it also frustrates in that it still doesn't commit fully to the 'rules' that it creates for itself: Is it simply *working the puzzle box* that summons the Cenobites, or does 'need' or 'desire' have to factor in? The hospital setting offers plenty of new cannon fodder and we get a whole new skinned character to watch try to rebuild themselves, it's an interesting theme to see repeated.

Well worth a look, this comes recommended. Check it out.
