Being a huge fan, I was looking forward to this remake. I thought the new pinhead was very well done, also the scenes were set up very well. Unfortunately most the remaining cast looks like they came from magazine ads & various tv commercials.
No realistic appearing people with any resemblance of a genuine real world human being. Just boring cookie cutter characters with some woke-ness sprinkled in. Dialog and storyline wasn’t any better.
A small twist at the end which is easy to predict part way through isn’t enough to save the movie. Pinhead and the cenobites carry this film. The lead girl does her best to work with the crappy writing and is the only halfway relatable character.
The rest is pretty much Hollywood commercialized redundant trash.
