Review of Hidden Figures (2016) by Leo K — 07 Dec 2018
A VERY well executed film showing the duality between ethnic-relations and an ambitious goal to beat communism in the 1960's.
A powerful portrayal of important figures in history that were glossed over, simply because of their ethnicity.
Yet, despite the subjugation of black people, they somehow still managed to overcome severe cultural repression and produce powerful results.
I REALLY enjoy movies like these because they are very humanistic and real in how history really played out.
There is never a good vs evil duality, but rather vast shades of grey in human history.
A++.
