Review of Highlander: Endgame (2000) by Galen S — 16 Apr 2012
Amateur and hideous. Seemingly trying to make some sort of sense out of the messy movies and annoyingly poor overly Americanized TV series by ignoring the movies.. something every successive sequel has had to contend with. Childish addition of sexier elements are obviously used to distract us from the wordy, action-free plot and in the series tradition of the more bare flesh the worse the movie.
Double the highlander should have equaled double the sword fights in anyone's mind but the writers apparently.Lambert has never been impressive with a sword since the first movie and his shortcomings are magnified next to a semi competent Adrian Paul whose acting is sub-par next to Lambert's. Between them there is a good MacLeod its a shame that's not possible.
