Review of Highlander: The Source (2007) by Caio T — 23 Jun 2012
Probably the most bizarre and nonsensical films I have seen in a long time. The dialogue is awful and the editing is just plain...I don't know what. But it's still a fun cheesy romp. As long as you can get passed the stupidity of it all. Some of the acting is well done (Jim Byrnes & Peter Wingfield) while others are just awful (Adrian Paul, what happened to you!?!).
If you go into this expecting a cheesy Sci-Fi channel made for TV movie that's heavy on the cheese then you won't be disappointed. I've seen worse films on the Sci-Fi (I refuse to spell it the other way) channel and elsewhere. According to the Wikipedia article the writers, producers and pretty much everyone else involved with the film likes to think of it as a dream/nightmare and not part of Highlander canon. As long as you look at it that way we're okay.
