As someone who comes from a dysfunctional working class family this movie really hit home. I almost didn’t bother watching due to the bad reviews but then my sister said it was good so I gave it a go and loved it.
Don’t listen to all the woke middle class critics they’re so far removed from reality they couldn’t possibly understand what it’s like to grow up with no money in such a hostile and toxic place but then defy the odds and make something of yourself.
