Review of Hillbilly Elegy (2020) by Edb111358 — 04 Dec 2020

I must be watching a different movie than what the so called critics reviewed. Well acted, well directed, as usual by Ron Howard, with a compelling and interesting story to tell. This isn't the best movie I've ever seen, given a few more banal moments, but it is still well worth watching, and provides many endearing features.

The only reason I can think that this movie got panned by critics is the fact that the author doesn't meet the critic's requirements that his political view of the world conform to theirs.
