Absolutely fantastic gritty tale of pulling yourself up by your bootstraps.
Ignore the collective hivemind scorn from the "critics". This film is worth a watch for the performances of Amy Adams and Glen Close alone.
Great performances and directions all round. This movie shows that you can break the cycle and succeed despite your upbringing.
