Review of Hiroshima Mon Amour (1959) by Paul P — 17 Dec 2011
I don't know what else to say about this one other than I just didn't get into it. Its a mash up of flashback/dream/present time that wasn't exciting but rather dull. The major burst of emotion from the two character come off as melodramatic because they're so thinly developed.
Its wonderfully shot, with dazzling and disturbing visuals along with great camera work. I just didn't get into these characters. I'll give it another shot down the road.
