Review of Hiroshima Mon Amour (1959) by Michael M — 21 Jun 2011
Another full marks from me for an obscure arthouse movie, I know, you're all probably getting sick of it. This film has one of my favourite moments in any movie - when the man's voice becomes the voice of someone else from the past. And Emmanuelle Riva, I would have fallen in love with you in 1959 if I'd been there to see this film.
Edit -- on looking again in June 2011 -- how does one make a film like this? It seems inconceivable now. How was it possible then?
