Another art movie that really doesn't say anything unless you want it to. Like Breatless (another French "classic") all the characters do are smoking and walking around. The main difference is that in Breathless they are walking around Paris, but here they are walking around in Japan (perhaps Tokyo or Hiroshima) .
And as they walk they talk or that's to say they don't talk. So if you like movies about the difficulties of talking too another person this is the masterpiece for you. Walking, not talking and leaving.
