Fans on the games will most likely enjoy the movie. There are some clichés, as always this kind of movies happens in russia, with characters with russian accent and arms dealing/drugs business. However, appart from that, the movie is entertaining enough.
The plot is not super, but is not completely without sense. The action sequences are well done, the acting is akward, but considering he is Agent 47 and never really had a time to see a psychologist, looking at his background, that is kind of like what I expected to see, so it is on point.
I think most of the negative reviews are very biased, and come from people who do not apreciate the genre and would still review badly simply because of the kind of movie and atmosphere. If you are a fan of the Hitman games, I think you will enjoy it, it is not a masterpiece, but it is your average action movie.
