Bette Midler and Co. are a goof to watch, but without a coherent plot, "Hocus Pocus" is a one joke, long parody that can get old really quick. It's like every scene the witches are in felt like a sketch from Saturday Night Live.
.. but more enjoyable. Still, the film is good enough to warranty itself as an Halloween viewing tradition. Just wished that the main characters (the heroes) were more likeable and developed.
