A rehash in the worst sense of the word. Every single part of this movie is even aware that it's a rehash. "Remember what happened last year?" is a constant theme in this film. In answer to your question, Yes.
.. we do remember what happened last year. You took a film with a kinda been-done premise and a silly slapstick idea, and actually managed to turn it into an endearing Christmas classic. With this movie.
.. all we remember is that you thoughtlessly and brutally cashed in on something a lot better, that seems to ask us why we aren't just watching the first one again.
