"Hostiles" wastes no time in unveiling its grim identity. It begs us to ponder the brutal honesty of the violent West that was, and what it means to be a man of honor and good. A question that many at the time didn't have the courage to face.
No matter the evil that rests on the surface, we are all human at heart and mind. It's not an easy watch, but that's its somber reality.
