Review of House of Strangers (1949) by Patryk C — 23 Jul 2012
A dark and sombre story about forgotten family values and what it means to double cross one's own father. This noir movie shows a great character study, with the top notch performances by the whole cast, especially by Edward G.
Robinson and Richard Conte. Mankiewicz did an amazing job of directing this gangster tale about loyalty in the sense of brotherhood, and how one man is able to stand aside, in order to save his family and the business that it's build on.
