When Sundance gives the worst of itself, more and more frequently: a rambling story with ramshackle characters or a rambling story with ramshackle characters engaged in vacuous reflections and self-analysis carried out on the last day of the planet's existence. If humanity were really like that, perhaps the asteroid should be invoked.
