Review of Hulk (2003) by Darkwingschmuck — 13 Mar 2022
Ang Lee's foray into superhero blockbusters is not without ambition, but it's entirely unsuccessful. Lee's use of comic book panel-like transitions is visually unique and interesting, and there is a soul to Hulk's screenplay.
However, it's muddled up with poor pacing, a lack of any sense of fun, and a horribly outdated CGI Hulk. Not to mention it's way overlong at nearly 2 and a half hours.
