Review of Hyena (2015) by Francisco G — 04 May 2015
A classical tale of cops and robbers with the twist being the film is devoid of an real "GOOD GUYS!" just victims and collateral damage. In Hyena the cops are in fact the "BAD GUYS" and robbers are even the even "BADDER GUYS!" with the plot being an open ended tale of nihilism where men do what they normally do, be awful and engage in typical human depravity.
VERDICT: this movie probably too "intelligent" to be absorb by the 'general' audiences, too amoral to be accepted by art house crowds, and possibly be acceptable by people are sociopaths, cus this movie is INTENSE (watch trailer!).
