Blair mixes together elements of his two movies with Jeremy Saulnier Blue Ruin and Green Room's gruesome and chaotic violence, with a mumblecoresque indie rom-com to mixed results. On one hand it works better than you might accept, but doesn't necessarily go as far as it could have.
