Review of I Know What You Did Last Summer (1997) by Alex A — 04 Nov 2018
I really liked movies like this as a child, but this is another one of those films that only disappoints when you rewatch it at an older age. The acting is either over-the-top or unconvincing, the dialogue is uber-simplistic, timed poorly and sometimes unintentionally funny, the kills are repetitive and plain, it's extremely predictable and the final act is a drag. 2 stars for not being the absolute worst thing I've ever seen and Jennifer Love-Hewitt is gorgeous.
P.S.
Ryan Phillippe deserved a razzie for most exaggerated performance of the year.
