Review of I Know Where I'm Going! (1945) by Joel A — 30 May 2012
A delightful British Comedy/Drama from the directing team of Red Shoes. For a side project before getting the technicolor cameras they needed for the next film this is an incredible achievement.
The concept wasn't new it was second hand but the style & depth it was delivered with is a bit different. I liked seeing our heroine (very selfish at heart) being humbled & learning there is more to life than herself.
This was shot & set (for the most part) in the Scottish Isles & Many scenes where stunning to watch. Keep an eye out for the whirlpool scene, quite climatic, a very impressive film from the British Directing Duo.
