A genuinely mesmerising piece of cinema that reveals all emotions to the viewer who opens their heart to this experience. Effortlessly I Origins made me laugh, broke my heart, horrified me, wrenched out my guts and made me weep with joy.
The world Cahill created was fluid and perfectly formed, a place of incredible beauty, sorrow and joy that is sure to be revisited (by this reviewer and his wife at least). Top tip: Just dive in with an open mind, don't watch the trailer.
