Review of I Origins (2014) by Heather M — 27 Jan 2015
Heavy-handed, forced, clumsy, improbable, lacking flow, sometimes shallow - and a very important film full of wild ideas. The themes of reincarnation and eye balls seem intuitive, and it's this that Mike Cahill toys with (though our eyes are likely only as important to us as dogs' noses are important to them).
Oh and if you can, watch this film thousands of feet above the Bering Strait. Thanks, Air Canada.
