Review of I Saw the Light (2016) by Hung-Ya L — 14 Mar 2017
I would like to think that none of us is perfect and it is probably good to be true to ourselves at least most of the time. But somehow I doubt for those who don't know much about Hank Williams would start to like him much after watching this film.
Perhaps this stands as one of the conundrums. Should you tell a really true story of some celebrity, whom we too often fantasize him or her to be almost perfect? Or should you just create a mostly fake legend?
