"The computer doesn't make the jumps. That was all you." Casey Carlyle (Michelle Trachtenberg) is a physics wiz who, mostly her mother, Joan Carlyle (Joan Cusack), wants to get the scholarship in Harvard.
But first, she has to make a science project. And, she chose the one that is close to her heart: the physics in figure skating. Wow story! Appealing soundtrack! Heart-warming. Prized clash between mother to mother, mother to daughter and sports and academic.
Great performances by Joan Cusack and Kim Cattrall (Tina Harwood). Guest appearance by Michelle Kwan. Directed by the impressive Tim Fywell.
