Idiocracy is a movie that started off as a largely ignored lightweight that began to resonate over time and became a very useful shorthand for the frustration and horror of the worsening situation we find ourselves condemned to.
Also notable for becoming the first first fictional movie to be turned into a reality show. It now runs 24/7 on all the channels.
