The movie was thoughtful, satisfying and uplifting even in the face of its ending. We press on with life. Blythe Danner demonstrated that she has been tragically overlooked and underutilized for decades, being mostly relegated to supporting riles.
She could have leading roles in quality movies such as this one. And of course, this movie and her performance were overlooked for major awards.
