The comedy in I'm Gonna Git You Sucka hearkens back to the Monty Python style and was so electric it launched the comedy series In Living Color. To date there are very few comedies that I hold onto and I'm Gonna Git You Sucka is one of my favorites.

I put it in the same category as Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Coming to America, Blazing Saddles or Spaceballs. The film knows exactly what it is and pushes non-stop for every possible laugh it can get out of you.

The actors in the film are perfect right down Chris Rock bargaining for a handful of Coke. There are skits you will remember for a lifetime after seeing it and few comedies achieve this. Though the film is a bit dated it trumps 99% of all modern comedies.
