Review of In Bruges (2008) by Michael C — 08 Mar 2013
I still can't tell which category this movie should be in, though it went a bit over the top it never was unduly unrealistic. But it was to dramatic to be set easily in into the comedy section. It was strange to see that kind of humor put into such a dark plot but I think they pulled it off well.
Colin Ferrell's character was kind like a refined version of his character in Phone Booth. All his lines were hilarious, laugh out load. Mostly because you could really see some one saying them in real life on the spot.
I would only suggest it to someone who gets the humor in Hot Fuzz and doesn't mind language or violence. Never the less it was still great and rather well thought out.
