Men would travel the ocean for months even years if necessary to bring back the ship owners justified amount of whale oil to fund the trip and all the people responsible. One particular crew goes up against the oceans biggest whale monster and will have to wave the white flag as they realize the sea belongs to the beast.

This story is the event that inspired the classic novel Moby Dick. With a little luck and very strong will to survive, one of the surrivors tells how he remembers the attack and all the time abandoned on an island at at sea on small life boat.
