Review of Incredibles 2 (2018) by John H — 27 Dec 2018
This is a fun movie but a disappointing sequel. Not showing any continued character development from the first film (considering it starts mere minutes after the first film's ending) or showing any time jumps (which would have made for a better story) shows that this film was only made for money and to pander towards kids while forgetting that the fans of the original have all grown up now.
The animation is beautiful but it only hides away the power of corporate greed and a tired and peer-pressured director. The audience deserves better; however, the audience does not perceive this based on reviews and scores.
