Review of Incredibles 2 (2018) by Amy H — 04 Jan 2019
Not as smart as the original. The original had moments where the story team had characters doing things that I myself would not have figured out in the moment- so I got nice surprises. This one didn't have any of those moments- all the characters were as dumb as me.
The audience was also not treated as very smart- Jack Jack's powers were portrayed as a new concept when anyone with a memory has known it for years. I'm under rating to make up for the general rating being too high.
Really I'd give it 3.5 stars.
