Review of Incredibles 2 (2018) by Imthenoob — 06 Feb 2019
14 years in the making and it still feels very half-baked. The plot is unoriginal, predictable and features a completely forgettable villain who makes no sense in doing what they are doing. You see a gender swap here where Helen becomes the big hero and Bob is now the stay at home dad dealing with Jack Jack's developing powers (probably the only funny thing about this movie), Violent's typical teenage girl problems and Dash just kind of chilling and not really doing much all film other than an occasional one-liner.
So yeah, All in all, this film suffers from some pretty terrible writing that tanks it. Kind of wish they'd stop doing sequels because they just don't even compare to the original for a majority of the time.
