Surprisingly a very good send-off for this iconic character, despite what some trolls who probably haven´t even seen the movie want you to believe. I expected a goofy, campy movie but the story and the characters were grounded and there was the tone of sadness and tragedy in the story.

Völler is the best villain in the franchise: ruthless and arrogantant. His sheme and his desire for the artifact actually creates a real threat (unlike the previous movies). The action in the movie is toned down compared to the other installments and not over the top.

Overall, a very worthy chapter in the great Indiana Jones-franchise.
