Review of Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984) by Cameron A — 22 Nov 2018
It may not match its predecessor, but it certainly stands alone as one of the great action-adventure films! The acting is once again brilliant, the plot is engaging and the set pieces are brilliantly directed.
It takes advantage of its pulpy roots and dares to be somewhat darker, and as a result made history as the first PG-13 film. And no, it isnï¿ 1/2 1/2(TM)t as good as the first film, but it doesnï¿ 1/2 1/2(TM)t need to be! What a great second film!
