Review of Infinite (2021) by Uchechukwu — 09 Jul 2021
Infinite is fast-paced and filled with a lot of spectacular actions. However, the actions suffocate the message of the story.
The dialogue is generally insipid, with very few thematic titbits that are placed too far apart.
The premise is great, but the plot is too loose and shallow; so many unknotted strands.
Chiwetel Ejiofor is perhaps the stand out performer in terms of characterization; others lacked depth, including Mark Wahlberg's character Evan, distastefully.
