Review of Insidious: Chapter 2 (2013) by Andrew O — 03 Aug 2018
It's interesting how he tries to relate to the first film, the effort at tying.
The narrative. You watch the scenes and remember what you've seen, it makes sense, and it's something positive in the movie.
The ambiance is darker, steps are taken towards the farthest. The soundtrack composed by Joseph Bishara contributes enough to maintain the same content of the original film.
The doors are still creaking. The makeup used on Patrick Wilson was very good.
A race against time, for good or for evil.
Negative point: Specs and Tucker. Need I say more? They break the mood of suspense, an unnecessary comic relief. Leigh Whannell convinces in the script, but not in the acting.
We have answers to the questions asked in the first film.
A film without great news, but still valid to see.
