Review of Insidious: The Last Key (2018) by Nicolas C — 30 Apr 2018
This delivery, is a considerable improvement for the franchise, compared to the ''Chapter 3 ''.
'' Insidious: The Last Key '' It takes us back to Elise's childhood, to her origins. We know their scares and fears, as well as their weaknesses, and the film knows how to take advantage of this aspect. Even so this new "Paranormal Case" that the group faces in the childhood home of our beloved Parapsychologist, does not go so closely with the plot of the film itself. Although, the story is interesting, it is not well polished, and they could have taken better advantage of it. In spite of this, the film manages to entertain the audience, and catch it with a confusing but interesting plot, with charismatic characters, including the spirits, as is our main antagonist "KeyFace" (which, in my opinion, is the best demon of the franchise so far) in a dark and macabre environment.
A significant improvement over the ''Chapter 3 ''.
My Rating: 8.2 / 10.
