Review of Insidious: The Red Door (2023) by Alexsantoss — 17 Jul 2023
It’s not a bad movie at all, but it isn’t as good as the first or the second movies. Not enough scare jumps to make me feel paranoid at night like the first one did… the story also felt a little disappointing, a little boring, especially towards the end… that ‘happy ending’, we didn’t want that. We don’t want Insidious to end. But all in all, still a solid 8 for me!
I’d still recommend it for newcomers and Insidious fans. People told me so many bad things about The Last Key, I decided to not listen to them, and that movie ended up being a solid 9 for me! Comes to say that you should not always care about what others say.
One last thing: we all stayed past the credits… it seems there might be another movie in the making. If you decide to watch this movie, make sure to stay past the credits, may be a short little clip, but it does make you think they are busy with another movie, hopefully a little better than this one.
