Written and directed by Wes Anderson with a story of the near distant future when Japan is voting for a fascist leader who is blaming dogs for an incurable dog virus. Who would then be voted to legislate all the dogs to be moved to 'trash island'.
All hope is lost until a young boy, named Atari went to the island to find and locate his dog named "Spot" along with the help and companionship of 5 other dogs. Viewers get to know about the relationship with Atari and his dog along with the 5 dogs who is helping him as the movie is processing.
