Having seen the original and been scared, I was ready to see something at least kind of scary. This was just offensive. This *could* be a SPOILER.....
Beverly getting taken and then saved by a kiss while she's unconscious is incredibly offensive. Why is the only minority's role minimized to the point of being almost unnecessary. It's like the writers were like, hey how FEW lines can we give this black kid? Just... just offensive.
