Doesn't need the oft mentioned 3d effects to show that this is a truly classic 50's Sci-Fi film. As with the best of the era, it works on many levels. Great as stand alone Sci-Fi, also adds to the canon of horror films as commentary on xenophobia and the red scare.
Jack Arnold's directorial debut, his career has several other classic films to its credit. If you're a fan, this is one to add to the collection.
