It Follows is a very eerie, slow paced horror that really works when it's sticking with its original concept and working on creating genuine tension with the brilliant idea of having not a monster be the villain, but anybody being the villain.
Whenever it tries to go deeper though, it sometimes comes off very pretentious, particularly a dramatic zoom on a ball that ultimately doesn't further any idea in the film. Those are few and far between though.
This is a pretty solid original horror film with a great score and some pretty good performances.
